My desktop Icon is blinking when I move mouse. I can't repair although I scan all virus. I don't want to fdisk or format. Please help me to solve this. Thanks far away.

You need to provide more information.

All of the icons blink?

Do the programs work when you click on them

Do the icons move or just blink.

Whay video card do you have? What monitor?

What is the resolution set at?

Please post back with full system specs.

Just booting into Safe Mode and then booting normally can solve some of these desktop problems but as classicsoftware asked more info would be helpful. BTW how uptodate is your a/v program.

Sounds like the magistr virus to me.

You can read about it HERE (http://www.sarc.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.magistr.24876@mm.html). They have removal instructions toward the bottom of the page.

Good luck. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif
