I posted this in an obscure topic area then I realized it was better here.--Sorry for the double post

Greetings All -Well I have my 1 Gig memory problem solved and the ASUS A7N8X Deluxe is running fine---I have one concern [ always somthing] everyone says and everywere I read if you do games your better off with the BIOS selection of "FSB Spread Spectrum" Disabled. Well it appears as an active line with the choices of 1%--0.05%--Diabled when I go into the selection and choose "Disable" and hit Enter it stays on the 0.05% and wont budge and move to Disable---------- This is a 2 part question

1] Why wont it change ???
2] How important is it ???
3]
I am overclocked a bit 200 MHz CPU X 10.0 CPU Frequency Multiple= 2 HGz this is on a AMD XP Barton 2500+ and I would like to go futher with the O/C My idle temp is 38C after 30 min of gaming it moves up to 40C to 41C--If I continue to O/C will the FSB Spread Spectrum enter into it ???

Thank You All

There is no need to double post, chances are it will be seen anyway by one of the regulars, and if it's in the wrong place the mods can always move it.

The other post is now locked.

Oh, hmmm, I already answered this in your other thread, where we solved your RAM problem. Go look there.
