This is my system

Video card 64mb NVIDIA geforce2 mx 400
768 Mb Ram
1.15 GHz Althon processor
Maxtor 6E040L0 40Gb Hard Drive
350w power supply
K7S5A Pro mainboard
C-media AC97 Audio device
Cd/rw – LG 52x24x52x

This is half life 2's requirments

SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS:
CD ROM: 4X
CPU Speed: 1.2 GHz Processor (2.4GHz Processor Recommended)
CPU Type: Intel Pentium II
Disk Space: 4.5GMB
Display: DirectX 7 Level Graphics Card (DirectX 9 Level Recommended)
Memory (RAM): 256MB (512MB Recommended)
Operating System Compatibility: Win98/ME/2000/XP; Not Mac Compatible
Other: Internet Connection Required

If i put it to the lowest settings, do you think i could run it? thanks guys

why wouldn't you be able to run it at lowest settings? i have a game that requires a 1GHz P 3, 128mb RAM, and 16 mb video and it works on my P3 450MHz, 96mb RAM, and 8mb video. The only reason, however, it wouldn't work is if u had little hdd space left.

Since you have plenty of RAM and just enough CPU power, yes it will run fine. However, that vid card of yours will severely hold you back! Upgrade to anything and you will see a performance improvement.

Hehe, I just love it when game boxes make up CPU's! I like the 1GHz Pentium IV's myself. :p

I wish everyone would just make their own thread, and link to another thread for background info, if really necessary. I've been involved in many threads lately where I have multiple conversations with several members all at once! Very confusing...
