I am considering buying a asus Radeon X300 PCIE 128mb graphics card. Will this card be adaquate to play games such as halo, Star Wars Battlefront and Knights of the Old Republic? I don't want to spend more than $80 for a graphics card.

I don't want to spend more than $80 for a graphics card.If you don't want to spend more than $80 and you need a PCIe vid card, then the Radeon X300 is your only option! It's the most powerful vid card for what you want, so you have no choices.
This (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=14-121-518&depa=1) Asus one will be $83 after shipping, but it's as close as you can get and still receive a quality product. I don't entirely recommend the Saphire cards if there's a close price competitor, because Saphire often uses RAM chips that can barely run at the stock speed. They're fine for ordinary usage, but more prone to heat-related problems and definitely not recommended for OC'ers.

thats the one i'm looking at. So will it work for halo? Plus, i won't be OC'ing it.
