how come, sometimes when i boot up my computer one of the cd or dvd drive lights keep flashing and when xp loads up, if i go into my computer or on the drive with lights flashing a message comes up - my computer not responding! and i cant close it even with task manager, i have to restart my computer manualy.
when i start my computer, i have to watch the boot screen when it says checking for boot from floppy, i know if it is going to play up, because once it says- checking for boot from cd rom! it takes a while before it continues to the next screen and i can see the light on my rom drive flashing all the time.
i just press the restart button until it boots up correctly.
any suggestions!
