Has anyone used a Protek Webshare 3RJ device for allowing more than one Windows 98 p.c. to share a dial-up Internet connection, please?
I got one at a boot sale and can get the computers to dial up and make the first connection when using the webshare box but I get a DNS error message on the screen and cannot locate any www site.
The installation instructions say you need to provide a DNS setting but Wanadoo, my Internet service provider, automatically issues DNS on their connection software.
Anyone ever used one of these successfully and can provide help, please? The Protek Website is down.
