Okay, I operate Win XP with Word 2002 SP2.
I find, being something other than a yank, that the correct spelling of many words is often flagged as being incorrect.
Questions:
1. Despite switching to English (Australian) in Tools, and despite the Spell-Checker being UN-ticked, I still get these incorrect spelling red lines. Even on words which are spelt correctly, ie not the US way. Why is this??? Is MS giving lip service to the other language abilities but secretly ensuring it constantly defaults back to US English?
2. When flagged, I select the word and "Add to Dictionary". Later, in another document, I will type the same word only for it to be flagged again.
Am I p!ssing in the wind here??? What's the point of the "Add to Dictionary" function????
3. I often type in Size 10.
After using a FONT option, such as Italics or Underline and then switching it back off again, I often find the font will then continue on in Size 12 (default)
Why is this???
4. Am I somehow warped because this all p!sses me off so very much?
Help appreciated.
