FireFox Search Default Question

On my laptop, and only on my laptop, the search window keeps changing from Google to Yahoo. I checked in FF's about:config and there are two possibilities and they are Google and Yahoo. In my config, Google is the default, but it keeps changing to Yahoo. Anyone know why this is and how I can stop it? I'm not real familiar with editing that config file.

Malware is, of course, not an issue.

Not sure how you can force Firefox Search to 'maintain disclipine' :p , but you can certianly uninstall search engines (http://kb.mozillazine.org/Firefox_:_FAQs_:_Uninstall_Search_Plugins) you don't want to see.
