A little more info would be great. Im sure we could take a stab in the dark but with out knowing what exactly is what it would only be guessing.
Is this a new problem after installing something, perhaps a new keyboard or mobo? Did it just happen or has it been happening for a while. Was something spilled or dropped on the keyboard? Did you <duh> check to see if maybe it became unplugged? Did your chia pet maybe chew through the cable?
If its a new mobo try checking the portand making sure it is connected to the mobo ok. If it is a USB keyboard make sure your USB is enabled and working correctly. Try a new keyboard as well as well as your keybaord on another system.
One of the Problems with a USB keyboard is they are Not auto detect
To enable a USB keyboard in many Bios you have to use a PS/2 keyboard to access the Bios the first time.
If you can find another keyboard to borrow try using it to enter and enable the correct settings.
In addition double check the connections on the mother board.
Not may manufacturers still include keyboard Locks.
But at least One I know of (Asus A7M266) has one and it is miss marked as an IDE connector

It is a socket 7 motherboard. I plugged out everything except the video card.
That message shows all the time no matter if I plug in or plug out the the keyboard.
thanks.
Had a similar problem on a biostar mb with checksum error. I replace the memory and that particular problem went away.
