It's possible that some things got corrupted during the ME reinstallation. Do another reinstall of ME and see if that works.

thanks for the reply 'ski'. well i reformat my PC twice already and also install win 98 on for i thought the error was on the OS but same problem. I also change my harddisk, cause it has already a bad sector, with this 'not so new' harddisk but a clean one but with no avail.
What seems to be the problem with my PC?? http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/frown.gif

Fdisk, then format the hard drive.
Take your modem and sound card out, then re-install windows.
Then re-boot twice, just to settle the hardware in.
Then install your modem....re-boot twice
Then install your soundcard..do the same again.

this should solve some of these probs and make you pc more stable....let me know the outcome

Itseems that you may have a problem with system resources or a video card (memory of driver). Visit the following site and see if this resolves the problem
http://help.netscape.com/kb/consumer/19970820-45.html

Usually resolution changes occur when you haven't enough RAM to support the resolution and color depth that you have specified, especially if you increase the color depth, you will see the monitor automatically reset itself to a lower resolution to offset the memory needs of increased color. Make sure your video card supports the resolution and depth that you're running. You may need to update the video card, or just buy a RAM upgrade for it.

Kernel32.dll deals with memory. I have also witnessed some similar problems because a stick of PNY memory, which was supposed to handle 133 MHz, was really a PC-100 stick instead. If the above doesn't work, make sure your memory isn't PC-66 (I assume you're running 100MHz FSB), get a good memory stick, like Crucial or Kingston, and replace the one you have and see if anything changes.

Good Luck!

Hi! http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/smile.gif I had the same problem (same error messages and same procedures, that is) and got it solved by having the memory sticks replaced. http://www.PCGuide.com/ubb/wink.gif
