I got a really big problem. Windows isn't wotking at all. I turn on the computer and everything is normal and we could all go for a glass of beer. But when I try to log in, that's when the problems begin. I log in, my backround flashes for about 0.02 sec and I'm logged out. I tried wiht all the users. I also tried inserting the XP CD to reinstall Windows but it won't start. I really REALLY need help!
Thanks in advance

Please tell us more about what if anything happened to the PC right before this event.
Power outage?
Installed new Hardware?
Installed new software?
Updated Windows or some other program?
Crashed and then it re-booted??
Please advise.

Which version of Windows??
Did you try to boot to the CD and if so (a) is the boot order set to boot the CD before the HDD and (b) do you get a notification to press any key in order to boot to the CD as the PC starts up.

Well, I have Home Edition...
I asked for a program at MSN and the person sent me a program named funny an I though she had renamed it, so I accepted. And then I discovered it was a worw that was sent to everyone I know, but they didn't accept it. I tried to do one of them, what do you call(i don't know what it's called in english)...when you set the computer so that it's excactly like it was a certain date. That's what I did anyway, to 2 days erlier. And then it happened.

Yes this is a particularly nasty virus/worm.
