i want to overclock my cpu
my specs are

asus k8n-e deluxe mobo
amd 3400 winchester with arctic freeze cooling
dual 512 corsair
6800 ultra agp with arctic freeze cooling
480 watt enermax power
200gb sata maxtor hd

i have been told i need a program to oc my cpu because
i cant do it in the bios because of my mobo
but my mobo states that i can
i didnt see the correct menues in my bios
so does ne one have any input or suggestions
or program names that i can oc with threw my os

That's quite the motherboard turkey. Plenty of overclocking potential. You can download the manual HERE (http://usa.asus.com/support/download/selectftp.aspx?l1_id=1&l2_id=20&l3_id=2&m_id=1&f_name=e1581_k8n-e_deluxe.pdf~zaqwedc) . It will give you all the info. Just be careful. Spend some time at the site that Jiggy provided the link for and start to get an understanding of the subject.
