Hi folks, I have a problem with my Solo. Upon starting the computer, i can hear a the standard sounds of bootup, the procedure reaches the point where windows 98 is loaded the screen gos to the blue background and the cursor arrow is present on the screen but nothing else is there. I have attempted to boot from a floppy startup disk, and also the recovery disk supplied by Gateway but to no avail. When I press contrl. alt, delete, the pulldown window contains one item, which reads; MDM. Is the machine toast or is there anything i can do?
