What boot order is set in the BIOS? It looks as if the computer is trying to boot from the hard drive, but there is nothing for it to boot from, hence the error.
In the BIOS, set the boot order to CD, Hard drive, and see if it then works.

As David has pointed out the boot order must be CD before the hard drive.

The CD should be recognised in the BIOS and you may also have to hit "any key" during the boot up in order to confirm the CD boot; this message can be easily missed.

To check that the CD is functional you could boot to a boot floppy with CDROM support and see if it can see the CD OK.

BTW, the SATA drive may be referenced in the boot order as SATA or as SCSI or as RAID; this non-conformity can be a source of confusion.
