I have been having an interesting problem with my computer. When ever playing any games, or should I say trying to, they crash. When I say crash I mean they just close and I am left at the desktop. I cannot play anything for more than several minutes without having this problem. I am pretty sure I have all the needed drivers; however, I don't have a monitor driver. Whether that is needed or not I am not sure. After some time looking for the driver for this old Hyundai HCM-423e I have not found one. I have a Mitac 5114VU motherboard, AMD k6-II processor, 320mbs of RAM, WIN2K, an ATI Xpert 128 (16mb PCI) etc... Any help or suggestions concerning this issue I've been having would be so much appreciated.
Thanks

Try setting your refresh rate to 60 HZ if it's higher. If it's already there then it's probably the ATI drivers.
Unfortunately ATI has lousy driver support; tho they make good video cards-for some reason they have never gotten their NT based drivers down like Nvidia has.
So this is probably your problem; try another brand Vid card if you can and see if you still get the crashes, if so then i would look towards your montior not being able to handle the refresh rate of your video card-may be time for a new monitor then.

I switched the monitor with a Viewsonic A90, with a driver, and the crashing persisted. I also switched to the onboard video card, with drivers, and it crashed yet again.
