Hi all.
I'm new to the forums here.
I haven't needed a notebook for several years, and my last 2 were an IBM and Toshiba. I was pleased with both and still prefer IBM's pointing device, but they don't offer the glossy screens.
I looked at some new Toshiba's and found one that suited my needs with the true bright screen.
Just to double check things, I started browsing some forums to make sure there were no major problems.
A couple people commented on the beautiful Sony screens.
So, I went back to the store and looked at a Sony FS550. WOW!
The screen is so bright and pleasant to look at.
I will only be using the machine to check emails and update a web site while traveling. Not a lot of heavy use.
Just wondering if anyone has had any experince with the Sony's both good and bad?
