Excel not reacheable in my home network

I have bought the Microsioft Excel programme (thus investing a lot of money, as you know) and installed in a PC (Windows XP home) of my home-net.
Any attempt to run it from other computers in the home-network (all XP home as OS) have failed.
Anybody knows if is it a deliberate limit imposed by Microsoft? Or is there a way to legally share this programme in my personal net?

Yes this is a deliberate act on Microsoft's part.
To run MS Excel on more than one PC you have to purchase a license for each additional PC. You can share files created in MS Excel but cannot run the program on more than one PC.
