Hi,
I do not know what the fish happen to my PC.When i clicked on my drive:D,a message appears which states:"D:\ is not accessible.Incorrect function."I did not remove anything other than those unwanted applications.I thought I could restore my drive D when I run system restore. To my horror, system restore returns a message stating that "Changes made to drive(s)D: after this point cannot be reversed because the drive was either excluded from system Restore monitoring,or was turned off or removed".I really do not want to lose all my important data in that drive D.Pls can anyone provide your expert advice.DESPERATELY seeking help.Thank you very much!!!!

Whatever you do at this point, DON't write to the hard drive if you can help it and don't keep turning it off and on.

Please describe your system, how many drives do you have? Is it one big drive with partitions or is it two separate hard drives? How did you remove the items in question? What is missing from the PC?

I am running on a windowsXP operating system with my hard disk in FAT32 format.I have two separate hard disks, the first one has four partitions whereas the second has only one which is the affected Drive:D.I am very sure i did not delete my Drive:D by mistake. Before this,I run the process "BC Wipe free space" on my entire system. The rest of the partitions in my other hard drive are alright. All along I am left with 76 GB of disk space in my Drive:D but yesterday when I click on its 'Properties' to check,it indicates 0 bytes.I am ready to provide all necessary details you require.Thank you for your reply!!!

"BC Wipe free space" on my entire system
Oh my gawd! just pray to god, the program didn't mistakenly zero filled your D: drive.

Try to right click on the D: drive , Properties, and then Tools and then Check Now, but don't tick those two boxes.

It gives any error?

Not the advice you need, bot it will help you in future. The best way to back up your system is to use Acronis True Image 8.0 and some utilites from microsft which integrated into Windows.
