Hello, I am curious about how file transferring via internet happens ?

Inside a computer, it must be objects or signals represented as 0's and 1's that are being moved from one place to another.

If it is only a copying problem, the CPU would simply prepare a place in the memory with space large enough to hold the file being copied. Then it will sequentially move bit by bit, parts of the object to the destination. The moving speed depends on the CPU and its version, from which we always see how long it will take to move or copy our file by numbers in action right down in the small windows popped up at that time. Sounds funny, doesn't it ?
No, actually there is nothing funny at all, it is just how computers are made to help us deal with all kind of problems like these.

Well, here I am in doubt as to whether or not these file moving "thingys" happen inside our computers are dealt with by pointers that are pointing to files' headers which depends on our computer systems to let us say correctly about their signatures ?

Another thing, as was mentioned right at the beginning of the post, that actually draws my attention is why transferring files via internet doesn't make any serious time consumption in comparison to file copying or moving in one computer with two or three or many different locations? To the Internet, Objects must be passed via 7 layers, moving via cables perhaps all the more far away from each other and suchandso but without any much loss of speed and time.

Something is wrong?

Thank you in advance,
Regards and Best Wishes
