I keep on getting this message when I try to start up my computer and I think I've tried everything to try and fix it (Jumpers, battery, etc) and when I try to replace the BIOS with a disk, the keyboard doesn't work anymore. Also my motherboard doesn't seem to detect the HD and CD-ROM.
Computer:
Micron ClientPro CP 450
NVIDIA RIVA 128X
450MHZ
256MB SDRAM

This is everyones nightmare situation.
You may have a corrupt bios, or possibly the wrong one flashed.

Try again at the manufactors website, and download, a newer-one/a slightly older version, try them both....there is nothing worse than a flash going wrong.

this may sound silly, but does your bios support flashing, because you will be suprised how many that dont!
You might be lucky to get a new chip, for your bios, i heard people talk about this..

My advice would be to try the flashing again..if it's supported. And wait for the more experienced here to help you with this problem, as I've never had this exact problem

good luck

Dazman pretty much summed it up...

You normally get that error after you flash the BIOS, it should display something like "Press "some key" to enter setup"

Then you hit F1, F2, F10, or DEL to enter setup, save the settings and boot as normal. (You'll only have to press one of those keys, not all of them)

If it doesn't give you that message, you may still need to do that. I know you said the keyboard was unresponsive, but you may HAVE to hit the specific key that gets you into the BIOS. The other keys may appear not to work until you do this...

What happened before the first time the system did this? In other words, had you tried to flash the BIOS and then it started doing this, or was it something else?

When all else fails, read the instructions.

Well it says something like "Insert System Disk, and then press enter" or something like that, but it won't detect the Harddrive or CD-Rom when I try to install windows...
