hi ppl!
I'm doing my MSc project on WEP which is the security standard embeded in IEEE 802.11. i wonder if any one can tell how to get hold of the protocol.... i mean the IEEE 802.11 or any other experimental software that's related to ieee 802.11?

I'm not 100% sure what you're asking, but you can download the entire 802.11 specifications in .pdf format from the IEEE website: http://standards.ieee.org/getieee802/

Just out of curiosity, why have you chosen WEP? It is pretty much outdated and has been replaced by WPA in most security-conscious network applications. WEP has proven to be too easy to hack (even the 128-bit wep encryption is lousy). WPA on the other hand is holding its own (even though theoretically no wireless solution is completely bullet-proof for the time being).
