Hello Everyone: As an experiment, I dragged and dropped "My Pictures" into the "Send To" folder, to make it appear on the drop down menu! It worked great, but now I want to take it out of the Send To folder and put the pictures back into the "My Picture" programs list, where they were originally. How can I do that? Please dont suggest system restore, I have things that would be wiped out if I used that method and I dont want to lose them either. I am using xp home (oem) preinstalled

If you RIGHT click the start button and select explore you will then see on the left hand pane the folder for your user name. Within that folder is a sub-folder called "Send To". Left click this and it will open in the right hand pane and show the contents. Just highlight the desired program shortcut and then right click it and select delete

Thanks, but I dont want to delete it, I just want to get it back into the programs list as "My Pictures" like it was originally! Which I did manage to do <<<< What I did so far was, I dragged and dropped it back into My Pictures and it took, but the name on it is Owners Pictures and it is shown only as a Film clips and I want it to show as thumbnails as default like it use to be and everytime I go up to view and change it to thumbnails, it goes back to this film clip view, which I dont like. I need two things here, first How to get it to stay as (default) Thumbnails permanently and How to change the name from Owners Pictures, back to "My Pictures" permanently? Thanks again

The name is probably specified in the registry somewhere.
Search the registry for "Owners Pictures".
Export a copy of anything you intend to change.
If it looks ok, change the name in the registry.
If it doesn't work, restore [the whole registry, or the key, value, or data].

Perhaps you should go back to a restore point before the problem was introduced?
