i have dual os. windows 98 and win xp pro. i loaded a pirated copy of NAV . after a few days it started behaving abnormally. i tried to uninstall it but it refused. so i went into the registry and tried to delete it from there. now whenever i start my pc in windows 98 i get the message symevnt.386 cannot be found. nav cannot load. then when i come to the destop and access the my computer icon it opens but nothing is displayed. i think i have messed up somewhere. can u suggest me how to repair windows 98 as i have lots of important stuff on my pc which i do not wish to loose by formating and reloading 98. please help. thanks in advance
