I recently submit a post regarding an issue I am having with my new build machine and an application I'm trying to run. (see my post in this same forum)

Today .. I deceided to try once more to tweak my BIOS to see if the application would respond accordingly. When I pressed F10 to save and exit my BIOS settings immediately my monitor went blank and all I got was a annoying beep from my system.

NOW.... NOTHING WORKS!!! I looked at the trouble shooting part of the manual for the system BIOS and tried a few things to recover but nothing works.
All I get is a " NO INPUT SIGNAL" message on the monitor!!

I suspect the original problem is either:
1. My CPU
2. My video Card
3.The application itself

IF ....IF ... this whole problem is the video card can anyone shed any light on the pros and cons of using AGP vs PCI cards.

Here again is my system set up:
WIN 2000
AMD Athlon 64 2800+, 512KB L2 cache
ATI Radeon 9250 Video Card 128MB DDRR 8X AGP
DFI K8t800PRO-ALF motherboard
Seagate 80GB Barracuda 7200HD

Thanks

There should be a jumper to reset the BIOS to default which would get you back to square one. If there is no jumper, you could pull the mobo battery out for a half hour or more to do the same.

You'll need your owners manual or from online to find out where the jumper is.

You should have included a link to your other thread.

The other thread is Right here (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=36860)

And another (http://www.pcguide.com/vb/showthread.php?t=36869)

Please stop scattering threads all over the forums, keep theis problem in the original thread linked above. I'm going to close this one so we can try and keep things in one place so everyone will be able to get the whole picture. I'd try to mrge it but due to the time difference it would probably get a bit strange.
