Hello well I have a pc with windows 98 and it keeps freezing, and i have to restart all over again every time it does it. can anyone help me to get this problem fixed. thanks!

how long has it been doing this? what type of computr is it?how much ram?
what kinds of programs do you have installed?what are you trying to run when your doing this?how big is your hard drive? how much space left?
when was last time you scand disked and defraged?
empty your temperary internet files lately? both on line and off.
have you run virus scanner ?with updated dats?try going to housecalls anti virus and get free online scan.what sound cards and graphic card s you useing?

Welcome John....

At this point there are too many variables to give you a sound answer without using the "shotgun" approach.

Lets do this: Begin by telling us everthing you possibly can about your PC itself.
Then let us know what the PC (or you) are doing when you get the freeze.

It can be something as simple as having too many apps running in the background while you are trying to play games, etc.

Or It could be something more difficult such as system drivers clashing with one another.

Heat issues, memory (RAM) issues, etc./etc.
