Very basic question, just because I am 99999...
Server-----Computer1-------Computer2
If computer2 donwloads a pdf file and then deletes it, will server and computer1 still be able to read it ?

The answer is maybe. It depends on the level of sophistication of the other users and the level of security on computer2.

If someone didn't want it read they'd use something like Eraser = http://www.tolvanen.com/eraser/ [for free] and then even the CIA [with almost total certainty] wouldn't be able to read it.
The US Army level needed for state security is 5 overwrites [of random patterns of 1's & 0's], but this will do anything from 1 to 35 overwrites.
Great little program this, that compliments the Recycle Bin beautifully.
You can send copy A of a file [or set of files] to the bin [when you delete a file it isn't gone, its only in the Recycle Bin], then put copy B in its place, try it out, and if you don't like it "Erase" copy B and "Restore" copy A from the bin.
Then your back where you began. :)
