Hi All,

How can I close all of the open folders in the task bar in one go

I don't know if there is a way to do all at once, but ALT-F4 will close them one at a time.

"Windows+M" on the keyboard will minimise all of them.
Or else you enable the "Quick Launch" toolbar and click the desktop icon.

The Windows help will explain other methods.
Right-click on the taskbar and "Minimize all Windows", "Undo Minimize..." etc.

In WinXP or similar you could CTL+ALT+DEL and bring up the Windows Task Manager. Highlight all the apps using the Mouse and the Enter Key and then Hit "End Task".

He he - then you have to close the Task Manager!! :D

Shift + Alt + F4 could be worth a try maybe.

If you hold down CTRL and click on the windows you want to close on the TaskBar and then right click and press close (close group) ......they'll all go!!
