picture cd's with music

anyone know of freeware software that can make pic cd's with background music. if not freeware then other software that can do it. thanks

If you have Windows XP (maybe other versions of windows too, not sure) you probably already have Windows Movie maker 2 on your PC. If not you can download it for free from Microsoft, it should also show up on your windows update if you run that. My brother and I have made several slide/picture shows with music on that, and I can say they turned out pretty darn good. :cool:

We have since upgraded to this software (http://www.photodex.com/products/proshowgold/) . This is the best slideshow software I have found, and it does some great things. You can download a trial version and try it if you are considering purchasing software. I know for me it was worth the money.

There's a free windows download called Photo Story 3 for Windows. I've just started messing with it, and it's worth a shot.
