Garage Sale FInd. Splash screen id's it as WIN98; compaq utility as WIN95. A bit glitchy, several error messages before it finally boots up. I would like to format the drive, and install a clean WIN98. Being a Compaq are there any special caveats? I downloaded as many drivers as I could find from Compaq but no manual is available. On a normal pc, if you reduce the resolution, the screen size gets larger. The icons got larger but now I just have a small box in the middle. Without a manual, and no support for this from Hp/compaq, any suggestions as to how I would enlarge the screen display?
