Problem with My Sound Card

I have a VIA Technologies 4 in 1 Motherboard. I am having problems with my sound card loading up, maybe about 50% of the time. What can I do to get it to load up 100% of the time. If u all have any advise please give it.

You have installed the VIA 4-1 driver updates, I assume?(Hyperion Driver Package for VIA 4-1 based systems)
I don't normally have any trouble with any VIA stuff, so long as you install all the drivers. You also need to make sure you have installed the PCI-CPU bridge driver too. What system are you running? 95/98/Me/XP?
