To use or learn Data Base Developement what are the best developement software or courses to look at? I pretty well have accomplished Microsoft Desk top data basing using Access whereas I qualified to a level of Visual Basic to create a Access Data Base. Would Oracle be a good choice, and if so what would the system requirements be to run the Software using it to also be interactive with the Web sites??
Thank you

What kind of database development? That's kind of broad. Do you want to get into a coporate setting or are you interested in striking out on your own. What size DB projects are you looking at?

I love FoxPro. Its great for RAD

The data base would be for very large enterprises>

If you need more information please respond again>>

The Open Source MySQL has a lot to offer as a Database Server. You can run a number of DB comparisons at http://dev.mysql.com/tech-resources/crash-me.php?advanced=1
