stop XP from firewire networking

Hi guys

I am going to do a clean install of XP PRO SP1.

I want to prevent windows from using the Texas Instrument firewire card as a network card which brings my to my point. I will be unable to transfer video from my camera when it is used as a network card.

(I've done this before but had to give up and go back to W2K)

Under networking properties (?) it should be possible to disable the firewire port as a network interface.
