Gateway 9150 is alive!!!!

Hello Members,
I was able to bring the machine back to life. I removed the hard drive and fromatted it in another machine, reloaded Win 98 and now it is up and running, everything but the DVD player is functioning. When I start a
DVD I was getting a Directdraw error message, after running Trbleshooter, I am now getting a pink streaked display. Any clues as to how to fix this?

When i came to read your post, I see "hard drive" hight-light and when i point my mouse on it, I can get explanation what it is, but when I log in I can't see it anymore, why ?
