View Full Version : Can't download pages from net
I cannot download any files/pages/forms from any website. A box appears and asks me to save it and when i do i still cannot get into the page. As well a security box appears and wants to know what path the page came from.Is this something i can correct in internet options or security? I have a pop up stopper installed, would that cause a problem?

Please be more descriptive. Are you using the maching in question to make this post? Can you view any web-pages? Do you get any error messages. Please tell us the exact message you are getting.
I will give you an example......I want to download a form from a government website...I download it and i have to send it into my recieved files folder because it will not come up on my acrobe acrobat.....So i try to open the downloaded file in my received folder using the microsoft word application and when the page appears it just shows a whole bunch of numbers codes etc.... sometimes a box appears after i try to download it and it says that i need to be more specific with the file path etc...
We had our harddrive cleaned up a few months back and i wonder if there is something i have to set up in the internet options/security so that we can download files directly unto acrobat?

Have you tried reinstalling Acrobat? It sounds as if the Internet Explorer "plug in" is either missing or corrupted.
