My internet speed is 100Mbps as told, but when i test its speed, it gives me 986.7 as result . That is when i turn off my firewall, gess it must be around 200 if my computer is firewalled. should I call ask my ISP ?Thanks ;)

: ) If your getting 986.7 Mbps from your ISP you are very lucky :p
A t1 line is 1.5 Mbps, most normal DSL lines are between 1.5 Mbps to 3.0 Mbps download speed. You can get a cable modem that gets slightly higher rates, maybe 4 Mbps at certain times of the day.

Your Network card is capable of speeds much higher than you will get with broadband. A 10 Mbps card will give you all the speed you can get from a DSL or Cable or T1 line and then some.
