Hi, i have this laptop

its a Toshiba Satellite, and underneath its model number is PS140A 026 k0p
a forum called it a cell 1200 model, but that doesnt help.

i've had to reformat it and for some reason i couldnt find the right drivers on any site. i tried driverguide, i tried toshiba, but they dont have that specific model number. the closest was a 1400-S something.

anyway, the drivers for that work, but none of the pcmcia cards i'm using work. theres an FA411 netgear NIC (no drivers, installable from XP) and a Cabletron systems 802.11b card (dont worry, i got drivers for THAT)

any ideas? the pcmcia controllers come up as
Toshiba ToPIC100 CardBus Controller
Toshiba ToPIC100 CardBus Controller

and i cant get any stupid pcmcia card to work. they work in other machines.

please help?

It also has inbuilt wi-fi but all it comes up with is an Ir connector

First, read this (http://www.argosy.com.tw/drivers/faq/english/faq6.htm).

Also read, this (http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/su_sc_dtlView.jsp?soid=116661&ref=AI&ct=SB&IL=EN&QS=ToPIC100&OS=&CN=10&BV_SessionID=@@@@2024202991.1116683656@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccfaddejgmhifjcgfkceghdgngdgmn.0&ProductMenu_1=(All+Models)&ProductMenu_2=&ST=1&SortOrder=LT_WEIGHT&awhit=1) from toshiba.

The driver could be: here (http://list.driverguide.com/list/company899/page2/)
