I fix my friends computers most of the time and one of them has a micron laptop that won't boot. If you hold down the power button for a few secounds and then let up and push it agian it acts like it is going to fire up and then it does nothing. Any ideas or suggestions would be useful.
Thank You

Welcome to http://www.pcguide.com/ubb/pcgubb.gif forums.

You need to post a whole lot more system information.

Model #
CPU
OS
RAM ETC.

If the machine is more than a few years old, you may need to replace the battery.

This is a Transport Trek 2. It's an older machine but used to work just fine. It has a P2 in it and I've tried a different battery and still didn't help. It doesn't work plugged in either.
