Hello all.

I'm a PC noob and need a little help... I have this RADEON 9200 SE card and two rigs which I can put it with (long story :o). The question is which PC will do better with this RADEON? For gaming purposes mainly...

This is what the specs say:

1) Midi ATX 400 Watt Front USB
Processor: Intel P4 3.0 GHz 1MB 775
Motherboard: Asrodel 915 Intel Chipset
Memory: 256MB DDR 400 MHz
HD: 80 GB 7200 SATA W.D

2) Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2400+ 2010 MHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte K7Triton something
Memory: 256MB
HD: 20GB ...

Except from the processor and HD that look better on the 1st... What does all the other rubbish mean

Thanks to anyone who helps.

I'm not sure how the cpus [processor] compare, I believe the intel mobo [motherboard] is better than the othe one, so I would stick the card in that system. Now, if your planningto do any gaming you should also up your ram. That will provide a great help to your system.

The Intel socket 775 is a latter technology
than the amd xp 32 bits,
And the Intel has an advantage in core speed...

core speed? AMD is a huge example that core speed isnt really that important. their FX-55 which is top of the line right now only runs at 2.6 ghz.

Thanks.

I see the 1st one is a better technology so I installed it there. And hopefuly some RAM coming soon... :D
