ok. its now time for me to decide what case for my new build i shall use. i plan on buying a thermaltake PSU seperately. so cases without included PSU's are what ive been looking through. but i'm looking for a good case under or around $50 because im on a tight budget here and if a good one comes with a decent psu that'd be fine too (although i may go a little higher if its great quality) . im looking for a case thats not too flashy but not too plain. i want something thats not too loud but doesnt have to be dead silent as long as the airflow is good. i just plan on putting in one hard drive and one cd drive. so, can you people help me decide between the ones i've been looking through. also feel free to suggest cases i've not mentioned. heres what i like so far :

The first one looks alright, but you will have to throw out that power supply. It only gives 17A on the 12V rail. It probably won't give the best ventilation, either.

The second one will give you amazing ventilation. You will never have a problem with cooling your system with that one--it's very well designed. You'll have to make sure to install quiet fans, because the ones that come with it are often sub-par.

Interesting design on the third one. I'm not sure how well the ventilation will be with the fans on the side. It's generally best to go from the bottom front to the top at the rear of the case. It has spots for four fans at the front inside of the case, but no vents on the front, so I don't know where those fans will be getting their air from.

The PS on the fourth one is the same as the first one. However, this one will probably give you better ventilation.

My vote: the second one.

Here's the one I'm using. Still in the build process...but you'll need a larger power supply. The cover in front slides down to allow access to the drives. It's not quite this dark blue and has a very nice finish. I was short one mobo standoff, but not a big deal. It has room in front for a 120mm fan and two 80mm's can go in the rear.

The Rosewill -number four-
has a better designed air tunnel
because the fresh air is going directly
to the processor...
