hi,
is it possible to change the language of Windows 98 ? i have a version in a foreign language and would like to have it in english

Try looking in Control Panel> Internet Options> Language tab> Add and pick from the list. If not listed, you'll need to install the other available languages with the 98 disk.

I don't think you can change the intrinsic language of any particular version as far as the operating system is concerned (menus, information, help files and so on) though you can add and customise much international support to allow you to use the system in another environment. International support meaning that the OS can support a vaiety of keyboards, fonts, currency settings, etc.

yeah i have discover that you can not change the UI of windows 98, exept for Windows 2000 Pro Multilingual version or XP too, but not in win95 or 98
