I just killed my debian linux install.......hopefully. I did a lilo -u then rebooted adn instead of lilo 2.2.02 I got LI and a blinking cursor. anyway I would like to create a bootable cd and use it to fdisk and format my drive and then reinstall. there are two mitigating factors. one its a laptop (nec versa 6030 PI) and two my windows 98 cd is not bootable. I bought it used with a license key still pasted to the bottom so I dl'ed the windows cd from limewire.
any advice would be much appreciated.
