I am missing winsys.dll, dewsc.dll and dewcc.dll from an old billing progam that I really need. I cannot locate these files anywhere. Any ideas?

This'll be no help right now, cause I can't remember and I can't find it (somebody here may know)--there used to be a site that specialized in archived driver/dll files. You could get all kinds of old/new/obscure stuff from there. I searched with no luck. Maybe it's gone under?

PopPop,
You mean this one?
http://www.driversguide.com/
or this one?
http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?bwcc

I hope this was not due to a worm infection or something, when I did a Google search there were loads of hits to Norton and the like for winsys.dll.

That's it, driversguide! They're a bit of a pain with their registration but I never got spammed and I almost always found what I needed--even really old Win95/98 drivers and dll's. Be advised (they do advise you), it's use at your own risk. The stuff worked for me though.

Pop pop,
You mustn't be reading all posts. I mention Driverguide.com damn near about twice a week here in the forums. I even post the username and password because everybody gets the same one anyway. Windows automatically logs me in so I need to remember to let the poster know what it is. I also referred to dll-files recently but that's quite rare.

Driverguide.com is to drivers, like Newegg is to computer parts. They seem to have audio, video etc type drivers for onboard and add ons but dll-files.com is more for odd system drivers within Windows.

What is the name of the program? Also what OS is installed as this might make a difference. Someone might have the program installed installed and be able to copy and send the dll's to you

I do not know if you have been to the makers website but when i did a search for the program I found the following.

here is a link that might help out The are further links to various downloads.
http://www.timeslips.com/Support/downloads/default.asp?platform=Windows+v10.5&filename=&submitform=Search

Here is the link for a page that allows you to search for files etc on their site. you might be able to find the files by using this. even if they have updated and stopped supporting your version it might be that they are still using the same dll's etc with updated versions
http://www.timeslips.com/support/downloads/default.asp

And here is the google search result link.
http://www.google.com/search?q=Timeslips+V5.5&sourceid=opera&num=0&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8
