Hi all,
"[PC1] is not accessable. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the Administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions."
I am running 3 XP SP1 machines connected via a 3com switch.
PC1 and PC2 can share files, see eachother and communicate fine.
PC1, PC2 and PC3 can all see eachother
PC1 and PC2 can access shared files/folders on PC3, but PC3 cannot access shared files/folders on PC1 and PC2???
File sharing has been setup to use protocol NWLink IPX/SPX/NetBIOS Compatible Transfer Protocol
I am a complete novice when it comes to networking I must admit! I can't remember how I got the first two up an running properly.
When I set up the first machine it prompted me to make a setup diskette to run on the second machine, should I have run this on the third to give it the same settings? As I discarded this disk, how can I make another one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Regards
