Clicking on the link brought up a Plug-in error message and then crashed my FireFox...

It worked fine for me. You may need Flash. Especially if you updated FF recently.

It plays in Windows Media Player for me. Are you blocking scripts, Budfred?

Yeah, I am using NoScript which is also crashing FireFox at random intervals... I actually have to get on to the site to enable scripts for the site, so I guess I will just pass on this one... I also have something that requires the site to get my permission to run Flash specifically, so I am doubly blocked...

That makes some sense for the symptoms you are experiencing. I test drove the new Firefox No Script extension but it was closing my Firefox when typing in the next new URL and was too annoying for me, so I disabled it for now. I am imaged in case of infection, so opened this PC a little. I am still running layered defenses.
It is amazing to go to some web pages and find 15 scripts trying to run in the background (Cnet.com for example).

On one of the comic strip sites that I visit each day I have allowed some scripts to run in order to view the comics and I still have had up to 29 scripts trying to run that are blocked...

I am staying with it for now, the author claims he is working with the FireFox people to fix the cause of the crashes and they are not that common for me... They went away completely after I uninstalled and reinstalled FireFox, but returned when the next update for NoScripts came out...
