Internet Connection Sharing

Hi there hope someone can help, I have two computers linked through a wireless network and an trying to set up internet connection sharing through windows to share the internet connection. I just can get it to connect to the net on the second computer, any help would be greatly appreciated. I used to have a DSL modem which worked with internet connection sharing ok, but I know the cable modems work on a different concept that DSL, so any help would be great

It might be worth investing in a Cable/DSL router w/wireless...

ICS is all well and good, but it uses resources on the host computer and requires it to be on anytime you use PC2...

A router would simplify things tremendously and add convenience and reliability...

HG is right on. Get a router. You want the security of a hardware firewall....
