I was toying with the idea of building custom solid wood computer desks and selling them in my area, but before I do I would like some advice from you, I know about how much it would cost to build each desk but what I want to know is how much would you be willing to pay for it or if any of you would perchase something like that? it would be made out of solid wood not this particle board that's used in most factory desks and everyone will be hand made and polished and built to individual needs.
If I have offended anyone with this I am sorry I just want some varied opinions

Not being able to see what you have to offer makes it hard to price.
But I will say this.
The last two desks I picked up. ( Solid wood) were $300 and $450
Both are large full sized desks / workstations

It is only worth what a person is willing to pay

I hate most of the particle board desks, but they're affordable. The prices vary but for the ones I've purchased, they usually ran under $200. Generally, they're ugly, extremely heavy, and almost any damage or ding is irrepairable.

I've looked at retail solid wood desks, but the cost is usually astronimical for something decent, and are more "office" than "computer workstaion in design. So my short answer would be, if I could get something reasonably attractive and possessing "workstation" functionality, I would consider $300 to $500 a fair price.
