Hey all,
I know that this isn't computer related, but is there a difference between the Ipod from Apple and the Ipod from HP? (I've looked around, but havn't gotten any answers.)
I need to figure out which brand to buy before next weeks sat. (I'm leaving on my bike trip to Vancouver on the Sunday, June 26.)
Any help/advice here would be appreciated.

An iPod is an iPod, whether you get it from HP, Best Buy, Wal-Mart or directly from Apple.
There are different models and generations of iPods, but if it says iPod, it's made by Apple. If not, expect a lawsuit from Apple soon! :p

Yes, hp's is not an "iPod" but it does the same thing. The only thing I'd look into before buying is the batter life expectancy and cost to replace. I've heard that iPod batteries are a rip off and usually die at about 18 months I believe. However Hp is brobably not as good qualitywise, but if the Hp has a cheeper Battery I'd go with that.

OK, thanks you two! I've been looking around a bit more, and the newer generation Ipods have a much better battery than the original. And I for an extra $120 canadian approx. I get the "Apple Protection Plan" aka. extended warrenty.
Thanks again,
