Laptop Screen Question

I have a broken laptop, and I was wondering if it was possible to take the screen out of it and use it like a tv. I want to use for a car tv and have an xbox hooked up to it. Is this possible?

It is possible, but you're going to need either the wiring diagrams for the LCD or pretty extensive knowledge of how video works.

Among the things you will need:

1) PSU for the LCD
2) Video converter since the LCD is designed for different video specs than a TV.
3) Cables and adapters to get the X-Box output to your hacked LCD

Unless you're doing this as a free-time, enjoyable, hobby-type experiment it's not worth the time, effort and research that it will require...
