I just set up a dual boot. When I turn on my pc I get the screen to select which windows I want.
The top option is "Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition" and the bottom is just "Microsoft Windows"
Is it posible to change the bottom name to "Microsoft Windows 98 SE" ?

I did it once.
Not that I insist on it, because it involves a bit of work for little or no gain.
Here's how anyway:
Install 98 on C:. Install XP on whatever. Reinstall 98 on C:. Repair install XP. Your next bootup options will show a choice of XP and 98 instead of one version of Windows without a denomination.

I think FTT that he just wants to change the display.
RClick MyComputer and choose Properties > Advanced > Startup and Recovery > Settings > Edit.
Only change what is written between the inverted commas.

I don't want to change anything, just to add "98 SE" to the name on the OS selection screen.
Follow the info Paul posted.
When you see "Microsoft Windows"
just add the 98 se to the end
"Microsoft Windows 98 SE"

I guess u could do it by accessing Boot.INI in my computer properties.
