Graphics Cards:

Would you prefer card A or card B if:

card A was the fastest, but had a cooler that made a little more noise than you'd like...

and card B was "fairly" slower than card A, but had a dead silent cooler.

Well I am sure that my reply will cover quite of lot of respondents thoughts

1. If I was a gamer which I am then 'gimme the faster card'

2. If you use your pc for other purposes word, music, video/photo editing, internet, etc, which I also do, then the quieter card would be better.

A power system will have quite a few fans. All in all I have 7 fans in my case so a little extra noise is not really going to make any difference one way or another.

Card A - you can always put a quieter HSF unit on it. Standard one, heatpipe one, or even liquid cooling. Noise can be fixed.

pcguideuser745, which to cards do you have in mind? Are you looking to buy new, or are they sitting around you place? More info would always be better.
